About Dr. Jacinda Hernandez
Dr. Hernandez is a compassionate and dedicated clinical psychologist who earned her doctorate from the California School of Professional Psychology in 2016 after completing her undergraduate studies at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. With extensive experience in various community mental health settings—ranging from private practices to secure inpatient facilities—she has worked with diverse populations facing a wide array of mental health concerns.
Her expertise includes supporting military members and their families, individuals grappling with reproductive mental health challenges, and those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and parenting issues. Dr. Hernandez is deeply committed to practicing cultural humility, ensuring that her practice provides a safe, inclusive space for all individuals to explore their mental well-being.
Utilizing person-centered, interpersonal, and cognitive-behavioral theories, she tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Dr. Hernandez is also certified in perinatal mental health by Postpartum Support International and has completed post-doctorate training in fertility and reproductive loss, highlighting her special interest in reproductive mental health matters.
