About Dr. Jacinda Hernandez

I am a licensed psychologist providing virtual therapy to adults across California, with a special focus on women’s mental health and reproductive concerns. I work with people facing fertility struggles, pregnancy and postpartum changes, pregnancy or reproductive loss, anxiety, burnout, trauma, caregiving stress, and other difficult life events. Many of my clients are high-functioning, compassionate people who find it hard to prioritize their own emotional needs—and often carry burdens others don’t see.
The women I support frequently manage anxiety, emotional overwhelm, caregiving demands, reproductive challenges, burnout, grief, perfectionism, or the quiet labor of holding things together. I aim to create a nonjudgmental, respectful space where you feel heard, supported, and safe bringing those experiences into therapy.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based methods. I combine compassionate emotional support with practical tools to help you gain deeper self-understanding and make lasting change. Therapy can be a place to slow down, process difficult experiences, reconnect with yourself, and develop healthier, more sustainable ways of coping and caring for yourself.
I hold certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International and have postdoctoral training in fertility counseling and coping with reproductive loss. With that training, I tailor treatment to your unique experiences, goals, and emotional needs. My goal is to help you feel less alone, more emotionally steady, and better able to manage life’s challenges.
